Q: What are Super Dollfies?
A: Super Dollfies (SDs) are high quality resin dolls made by Volks, Japan with removable eyes and wigs for an owner to change the doll to his/her pleasing.

Q: How many types of SDs are there?
A: Currently there three types: SD10 (10 yr-old), SD13 (13 yr-old) and MSD (mini size), although you can make them any age you want. There are also a number of limited editions which are difficult to obtain and relatively much more expensive.

Q: How much is a SD?
A: A SD can range from 550US up to 4000US.

Q: I've seen dolls similiar to SDs but aren't. What are they?
A: That would be AI done by CustomHouse, Korea and Dream of Dolls, Korea. For a more detailed listing of other BJDs, please refer to the Korean Doll icons page or the SD FAQ.

Q: Are the faces of dolls changable too?
A: Yes, they are! You may change the doll by careful sanding, such as minimizing her nose or thinning her lips. You can also repaint your doll with either Volks doll makeup or airbrushing with acryllic, although obviously once you redo the makeup, the old makeup will be gone forever
